Together with my grandmother, we planted trees in the garden. We planted a peach tree and also grew watermelons because I love these fruits the most. Besides the fruits from the tree, we also enjoyed eating plums and apples. Every morning, my grandmother prepared a delicious breakfast for us. The cheese and the taste were amazing. Before going to the countryside, I took a few novels and storybooks with me. I read them all. I also listened to a lot of music. I played games with my sibling in the countryside. We tasted fresh water from the well. We watered the plants and in my spare time, I built sandcastles."

My last summer vacation was very fun and unforgettable. My family and I went to Cyprus for a week. Cyprus is an island country located in the Mediterranean Sea. It is famous for its sea, sand, and historical sites.
When we arrived on the island, we first went to the city of Limassol. Here we visited the historic Limassol Castle and the St. Lazarus Cathedral. Then, we went to Ayia Napa. Ayia Napa is the most popular tourist destination in Cyprus. Here we swam on the golden sandy beaches, went in the sea, and did water sports. We also experienced Ayia Napa's nightlife.
During the second week of our vacation, we went to Nicosia. Nicosia is the capital of Cyprus. Here we visited the historic Grand Bazaar and the Selimiye Mosque. We also walked through the bustling streets of Nicosia and tasted the local cuisine.
